Graduated mechanical engineer and earned advanced studies degree in fluid mechanics ( French University) and graduated as law advisor.

Worked at Schlumberger Production and Testing, holding various positions in South America ( Brazil, Mexico, Peru)  and Africa ( Angola, Tunisia), managing Production and testing activities between 1981 and 1992.

He held commercial functions for ETPM / Stolt Offshore   and established  a Company in Vietnam.

In 2004, he became Corporate Manager for “Tchad Cameroon Logistics” handling all logistics of Exxonmobil operations in Chad .

Since 2006, he is with Bureau Veritas in various positions. At present he is Market Director for Oil and Gas.

After graduating in Chemical Engineering from the University of Exeter, Robert joined Dresser Atlas in Houston as a Logging Engineer in 1980. On completing his initial training he worked in the USA, Middle East and the North Sea. On moving into management Robert held various positions in operations, sales and senior management roles in the UK. In 1990 he moved to Stavanger as Country Manager for Norway being responsible for Western Atlas’s operations in Scandinavia and Northern Russia. In 1994 he moved to Singapore as Vice President Asia/Pacific responsible for all operations in that region. Following the acquisition of Western Atlas by Baker Hughes in 1988 Robert moved back to Houston as Vice President of Global Operations responsible for the Worldwide Operations, Manufacturing and Marketing for Baker Atlas. In 2003 he was promoted to Vice President of Sales for Baker Hughes being responsible for the Companies Sales and Marketing, Integrated Services and Corporate Communications. In 2005, he left Baker Hughes and joined Vetco Aibel and following the sale of Vetco to GE in 2007 was promoted to President of Aibel Holding being responsible for the Companies international operations. In 2009 Robert left Aibel and joined Total Safety Inc. as Senior Vice President International Operations. After the successful sale of the Company to Warburg Pincus he left Total Safety and was appointed CEO of Oil Spill Response Limited in April 2013.

Mr. Jamil Al-Ali – Manager Fleet New Building Projects Group, Kuwait Oil Tanker Company. He joined KOTC in the Year 1985 on Scholarship Program, attended the Marine Engineering at South Tyneside College). He later joined the fleet vessels as a Cadet in the Year 1988 – 1989 and graduated in the year 1990.

Mr. Jamil has sailed onboard all classes of vessel in KOTC Fleet, Crude, Products and LPG from 1988 – 2002, and joined Kuwait Oil Tanker Company Head office in 2002, worked for Fleet Engineering Group last 5 years as Manager Fleet Engineering before taking over as Manager, Fleet New Building Projects Group in the year 2013.
