Mr Robert Grina

Engineer Robert H. Grina is a Senior Landscape Architect and Research Scientist in the Biodiversity of Terrestrial Ecosystems Program (BTE) under the Environment and Life Sciences Research Center (ELSRC) of KISR. Mr. Grina has been involved in greenery planning and environmental assessment projects, both in the USA (California) and internationally since 1974. Spanning his 25 years of international (Middle East) experience, he has developed extensive expertise in environmental analysis, natural resource protection and preparation of management plans, sustainable design solutions, landscape architecture & regional urban planning, and related greenery research. During his 21 years at KISR, he has been involved in various key environmental planning and applied research projects, supporting governmanental and non-governmental organizations.

Mr. Grina has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Landscape Architecture from the School of Environmental Design at the California State Polytechnic University; he is also a Registered Landscape Architect in the State of California, USA.
